Fire Safety Audit — Public-Access Buildings (ERP) & Residential Buildings

Inspection, regulatory compliance and corrective recommendations — for public-access buildings and residential buildings.

FIRE SAFETY AUDIT

The fire safety audit — how it works.

FireLab Pyrénées carries out fire safety audits for public-access buildings (ERP) and residential buildings. Each audit includes a complete visual inspection, verification of regulatory compliance, analysis of the fire-fighting and rescue equipment, inspection of the escape routes and emergency exits, and verification of the smoke extraction system.

A detailed report is delivered to the operator, identifying the non-compliances observed, their criticality level and the associated corrective recommendations. This document is an operational tool that can be used directly for the regulatory compliance of the establishment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your questions about the fire safety audit

What is a fire safety audit?

A fire safety audit is a complete inspection of an establishment to verify its regulatory compliance. FireLab Pyrénées checks the fire-fighting and rescue equipment, the escape routes, the emergency exits, the smoke extraction system and all the applicable regulatory provisions.

Who is concerned by a fire safety audit?

Operators of public-access buildings (ERP), managers of collective residential buildings, ICPE (classified facilities for environmental protection) and agricultural buildings. FireLab Pyrénées tailors each audit to the specific constraints of the establishment.

What does the audit report contain?

The report identifies the non-compliances observed during the inspection, classifies their criticality level and proposes corrective recommendations. It is an operational document that can be used directly for regulatory compliance.

Does an audit prepare you for the safety committee visit?

Yes. FireLab Pyrénées supports operators before and during the safety committee visit. A pre-audit identifies the points of non-compliance, a corrective action plan is proposed, and technical assistance is provided on the day of the visit.
